"I didn’t know what ABA was when our son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS in 2003.

When Inside Out started working with our son I didn’t know what to expect.

It was difficult at first, because he did not want to engage in any activity with other people. He had created a play world all his own, and he was happy doing his own thing.

He communicated enough to get his needs met, but that was really about all.

Slowly, therapists from Inside Out began drawing out his playful personality. And we began seeing more and more aspects of our humorous, spirited little boy. The more success he had, the more he wanted to be successful.

The more reinforcement he got, the more he wanted to do to feel proud of his accomplishments. He also discovered a love of learning and that learning something new was a reward all on its own.

I think the thing I appreciate the most is the way Inside Out works with all aspects of our child’s interventions. They include work on OT goals, Speech goals, and anything else we thought was important.

It has been a long three years, but our son has gone from being a quiet, non-functioning child to a fully functioning kindergartner that is keeping up with his typical peers to the best of his ability.

"At three years of age, our daughter was diagnosed with Autism. Needless to say, we were very concerned and somewhat intimidated by the significant parental challenges that we knew we would face.
